The Faceless bassist, drummer quit band

The Faceless bass player Evan Brewer has now officially exited the band. Brewer put forth the following statement:
"After almost four years of good times with The Faceless I've decided to leave the band. I just feel that it's time for me to make this move because I want to make new music, do more teaching, and to also have availability for any musical opportunities that may arise. The Faceless is a full time band and they need members who can commit to that schedule. I would like to thank the fans of the band for embracing me and encourage them to continue their support of The Faceless."
Shortly after Brewer's announcement, drummer Alex Rudinger also announced his departure. Here's what he had to say:
"After much thought I've decided that it is time for me to leave The Faceless to pursue other projects and seek out other opportunities. I will be looking for work; I love touring, writing, and recording and plan on doing all of these things for a long time to come. I would like to thank the band, as well as every person that attended a show in the last two years. I saw a lot of places and made some great friends along the way; it was a great experience. "I'd also like to apologize to any fans that were planning on coming out to see me with the band next week at Knotfest, as well as Europe next month. I'm sure I will see you all again at some point in the future! I wish the band the best of luck, I have no doubts they will continue onward. Thanks."

Great job Michael Keene. Probably sucks to work with an ego that big.

I war eally looking forward to Alex drumming on this album as he was awesome in the Haarp Machine. The loss of Evan from this band is a huge hit though admitedly they never let his full talents shine through. Ash of Sumerian has been hinting at mking nw music again and with Tosin on the label and Evan a free agent maybe it is a sign Reflux will be back in action again soon? One could only hope...

When I saw them at summer slaughter, they didn't look too thrilled to play.

Animosity new album and world tour is happening in 2015

anonymous 10/22/2014 8:37:52 AM

^ World tour? yeah, of laundromats. Don't get it twisted, KEHD. Anyways, Michael Keene has 4 dicks on him at all times. I'm sure Evan and the other dude got tired of whippin em out when his "hired" load guns figured out the checks he was writing were bouncing faster than two nuts on his chin.

i miss my animosity bowl

anonymous 10/22/2014 10:54:17 AM

"^ World tour? yeah, of laundromats." I'd still go to the laundromats to see the dudes play, I would assume it would be just like the black page video just not in a house.

"RED FLAGS MUCH? LOL Past members.." You're a F_U_C_King idiot!! How many of those members were live touring drummers only? How many of those drummers were also session drumers for Alkadelma? YOU DON"T KNOW SHIT! I've been a fan since the demos if you ever saw them live they never had the same drummer hardly. They even had the drummer from ABRB with the rat tail.

^^^^^^ Michael Keene/Chad J. Fjerstad. Same dude. Equally forgettable career. Hang it up Keene.
