Its a hardcore album why do people have to wait 5+ months when it will take 10 days to record and a month to mix and master. Because you have to manufacture it. Vinyl takes a minimum of 2 months. it doesn't pop up on itunes right away. If they want it in any stores, the distributor needs some time to arrange that. Most labels don't put out records later in the year.
They're probably hoping to sell some, so they're going to want to advertise a little bit. That takes some time to plan and schedule too.
