Mitch dying obviously sucks etc let's not forget that his vocals were pretty terrible, Eddie is definitely a better vocalist, I don't think he's a bad fit for the band either, but I doubt they will ever put out an album that stands the test of time and could be considered above 'average'. Now that deathcore is over I think metal nerds will however begin to embrace SS in the same way they do JFAC, ASP etc purely because they have been around a while now

Suicide Silence is "DONE!" With out Mitch there will never be a SS show again. Mitch's legacy will live on because he was one of the worlds most brutal vocalist. If the band really respects Mitch's memory they will kill/ disband Suicide Silence, and start a new band. Also if I ever hear one of SS's songs from any of Mitch's albums done by Eddie; I'm going to burn every thing I have from this band.
