Kvelertak recording new album with Kurt Ballou

Norwegian rock/black metal/punk band Kvelertak has entered the studio to begin tracking a new album. The band is currently at Godcity studios in Massachusetts recording with producer/engineer (and Converge guitarist) Kurt Ballou. An early 2013 release via Indie Recordings is expected.

Obvious news is obvious. How come so many bands record here but never play any shows here? Couldn't they use the money from a quick one-off gig? Smeashus crist!
