As Hell Retreats cancels shows, breaking up?

Nearly two weeks ago we were contacted by an individual who stated that Hendersonville, TN progressive death metal band As Hell Retreats would soon be breaking up. This person claimed to be "in the know," and stated that the band has parted ways with label ANGR/Century Media and would embark upon a farewell tour in July. At the time, we could find no additional information or evidence to support the claim, other than to note that As Hell Retreats had indeed cancelled a Canadian tour a month ago. Well, a day ago As Hell Retreats issed the following: "Attention: Crofton, MD and Manchester, NH friends, we will not be attending the remainder of the War of Ages tour. Considering our current situation(s), it was quite obvious we would be unable to continue. We apologize greatly." We are not sure what "situations" the band is referring to, but cryptic statements like this do tend to indicate problems. We'll see what happens.
