If you wrote good music, I'd buy your album. You dont. I don't even listen to Trivium and I avoid any show or tour they're not because they suck. So, if this whiny bitch wants to save his "friends" jobs, he should break up his band and find another way to, "pay rent."

Any label that thinks it can survive on CD sales is like Nintento thinking the Wii 2 will save them from smartphones. Your business model is founded on luring musicians into giving up all their rights so you can funnel money up to Warner. Meanwhile the small independents are using profit share to steal away all the current and talented bands. Time for a rethink.

The days of the mid-major record companies (like Roadrunner) are dying. The artists are doing all of the promotion themselves, thanks to sites like YouTube. Who needs an A+R on a mid five figure salary to just surf YouTube videos all day, looking for the next trend to market to the music-buying sheep of the world?
Seriously? Is this just about Trivium? No. Think about the people who have lost their jobs because of this corporate bullshit. As if being a metal musician wasn't hard enough, nobody gets paid what they're owed anymore and Roadrunner have more market flow than any other label. So how long before we see it happen to other smaller labels? Piracy is one thing, but bands don't make money from CD sales anyway; its from people buying tickets to their shows, buying their merch AND buying their CDs.

The only reason people crying about "stealing" music doesn't drive me completely insane is the smug satisfaction in knowing that they WILL lose, and because they're too fcking dumb to adapt they WILL starve. You will never, EVER make money selling digital music ever again. If you can't accept this you deserve to lose everything because you are a retard.
It wasn't until the introduction of digital music that allowed an over abundance of shit labels and exposure to far too many lousy bands....... Nothing is for free, so if the younger generations think that music is something they are owed at no cost, they can just eat it because last I knew guitar shops were not giving away their instruments for free. Playing in bands is hard costly work and good bands deserve to make a living at it.

If being a musician is hard work and metal musicians deserve to get paid, why are you letting your labels make $10 for every $1 they make? Exploiting people is not a sustainable business model, no matter how much they claim to give back to "development". Roadrunner is done because their bosses are greedy and think downloading is a fad that can be legislated away.
