Official press release:
Asking Alexandria fans rejoice as the long awaited remix record, Stepped Up and Scratched, has finally arrived and is now officially set for a November 21st release through Sumerian Records. The disc features remixes from such renowned names as Borgore, Celldweller, Born of Osiris, Big Chocolate, Tomba and many more.
Ben Bruce (guitars) states: “Finally, after months of gossip and hype it is here! Stepped Up and Scratched has arrived. It's the only remix album worth buying, haha. Stepped Up and Scratched was a concept we came up with about three years ago while recording Stand Up and Scream. We are all into a lot of different kinds of music (rock, pop, blues, swing, dance, house, electro etc.), so stepping out of our comfort zone is something we are used to. Stepped Up and Scratched is proof of that. This album is a representation of this band as an artist, not just as a metal band. It is full of great remixes that would be perfect in a club/rave setting or at home just to party to. Not only is Stepped up and Scratched a predominantly electronic album, but we decided we wanted to keep it heavy and be different so you will find a lot of the actual music has been left in to the mixes making it a really unique listen and a completely fresh sound/feel. We had a lot of fun working on this record along side the many talented DJ's that appear on the album. Check it out as its really an album to just get wild to. Enjoy!"

that entire paragraph can be summed up with "We realized we haven't exploited the dubstep idiots yet so, yea. Lap this up."
