Sumerian Records signs Borgore

Official press release: Israeli planking electronic artist, Borgore, has inked a North American deal with Sumerian Records. Asaf Borger (Borgore), has unquestionably become a household name for those who follow the ever growing Dubstep sound. He branded his own subgenre "gorestep," which is an extremely aggressive form of Dubstep and previously achieved #1 on the Beatport charts. His much anticipated, new Delicious EP (featuring three original tracks, three instrumentals and a remix) is currently set for a June 21st release across all digital retail platforms. His first ever physical release, Borgore Ruined Dubstep – The Album, will be a greatest hits package which will be released on July 26th. This is the definitive Borgore collection and look for all album details (track titles, song samples, etc) to be released over the coming weeks. Borgore is currently on a massive world tour. He just wrapped up a very successful run through Australia and NZ and is now coming to play a 30 date tour of North America from May – July, including a show at New York's Best Buy Theater. Feel free to head over to www.facebook.com/Borgore now for additional information, to view all dates and stream tracks. Music has always been the biggest aspect of Borgore's life. From playing the piano when he was just three years old and graduating from one of the best youth programs in the world as a saxophone major to playing the drums for a death metal band or MC’ing alongside Tomba on their live beatbox group, (which later into their Dubstep group, Amp) Borgore has dipped his toes into many areas. He also was renowned for being one of the first to spin such aggressive artists such as Lamb of God, The Faceless and Asking Alexandria in his sets. The 23 year old is known for bringing new things to the table causing conformists discomfort, and that’s even before they’ve heard his explicit lyrics. Being based in Tel Aviv living away from the major scenes and having no support from bigger artists or connection with the right people, Borgore achieved his goals through social networks to build his dedicated fans base.

"Ay, who wants fries with their boiga? gayettaboutit!" Great, more white-boy rap from an otherwise great label. Sumerian needs to stick with the heavy shit and stop reaching out to... whoever these fckers are!
