Official press release:
Unique Leader Records is very pleased to announce the signing of northern California act Fallujah. Leading the way in a new wave of death metal, creating atmosphere and bringing new ideas to a scene going stale, the band has a lot to offer the listener with a ton of potential yet to be unleashed. Fallujah will enter the studio in March to begin recording "The Harvest Wombs," that's been highly anticipated since 2009's "Leper Colony" release. The band will also be hitting the road in spring and summer. Cover art and street date to be announced soon.
Fallujah comments: "We are excited to be part of the UL team and to be among bands we have respected for so long. After so much hard work writing and touring we are excited to finally have completed a record that we not only are proud of but that will completely reinvent the sound and atmosphere associated with Fallujah. Expect something fresh, complex, and thought provoking. 2011 will be an exciting year not only for the band, but also for all the fans who have been anticipating this release for so long, be excited for 'The Harvest Wombs.'"

Wait....you mean UL's going to sign a band and then release NEWLY recorded material that the band hasn't already self-produced and sold? I'm confused!
