Metal Blade signs Between The Buried And Me

Metal Blade Records has [finally] officially announced the signing of Between The Buried And Me. The band's Metal Blade debut, "The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues," will be available on April 12th. Guitarist Paul Waggoner comments: "Their commitment to heavy music over the years is inspiring and we look forward to becoming a part of the ever-growing legacy of the label. Our new release, titled 'The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues' will hit the streets in April. We are confident that our dedicated fans will appreciate it and hopeful that we will gain the attention of some new ears as well. In closing, I'd like to reference a quote from the illustrious Joe Dirt: "Life's a garden, dig it." The full-length album will be the group's sixth, with their last four seeing release via Victory Records. A teaser for the new album can be seen below:

a full length? sweet.

fuckingbrains 2/21/2011 3:51:17 PM

People who only like the silent circus are the same gays that say that about every band's first album. " Did not like them after they developed as a band and crafted their own sound. " How fcking lame is that?

horseheadxbookends 2/21/2011 3:56:22 PM

always good news, hopefully they tour with no openers

wildcard_charlie 2/21/2011 4:22:12 PM

LoydChristmas 2/21/2011 4:28:51 PM

Glass casket is not stoked

yeah_right 2/21/2011 7:37:00 PM

The next 2 albums after will be 60 minute singles of two foreigners faintly arguing over tv static, and will include a dvd. gays will still love it.

freilok 2/21/2011 7:37:28 PM

thank god... victory sucks c-cks

i_talk_shit 2/21/2011 8:25:57 PM

it's actually a pretty awesome EP. even more proggy.

EwokFromEndor 2/21/2011 8:29:10 PM

fckingbrains, The Silent Circus is not BTBAM's first album. And in this case, that isn't even what happened here. They "progressed" into abysmally lengthy shit, which combined way too many of the shittiest aspects of music.

DDAD 2/21/2011 8:32:57 PM

will undoubtedly be good, sorry that i enjoy talented musicianship. fight me.

kllann 2/21/2011 8:37:50 PM

BobScerboFanClub 2/21/2011 10:59:48 PM

fck yeah. Between The Buried And Me/Shai Hulud tour, please.

imcoolyournot 2/22/2011 12:39:12 AM

Even more "proggy"?? Hell. Yes. I love the heavy shit but I think I love the not-so-heavy stuff they do even better. A better balance will be welcomed by this fella

HBDad 2/22/2011 2:35:00 AM

This year's best album will arrive in April... SWEET!

PartySmasher 2/22/2011 7:09:23 AM

Awesome news! Great band signing with a great label, they might get some decent tours!

twat_waffle 2/22/2011 8:16:04 AM

I'll give it a solid listen before I talk shit.

LoydChristmas 2/22/2011 8:19:56 AM

eatingbigdicks 2/21/2011 10:51:04 PM The burial plot bidding war is this bands only good album....LOL

TheFacelessOne 2/22/2011 1:02:09 PM

fck yes! good news.

YouGotScanned 2/22/2011 1:52:46 PM

Yeah, "Silent Circus" was the second album. I actually prefer the original self titled album to any of the other ones. All good stuff but the first two were the staples. I will definitely listen to this. Great Misdirect was better than Colors to me.

morgamad 2/22/2011 2:35:26 PM

5 years late on that one

needssalt 2/22/2011 2:46:25 PM

PFC was fun but sloppy. They recorded everything through a slightly sweet can of peaches. BTBAM gots some skills. Way to finally defeat lex luthor of music

xmusicislifex 2/22/2011 2:58:37 PM

now they have to get rid of Rose Funeral

jailbait_salad 2/23/2011 8:57:51 AM

I was literally just discussing with samonilla what label this band was on last night. I was thinking "they can't still be on victory..."

Filled_with_rape_semen 2/23/2011 1:57:05 PM

A Prayer For Cleansing was fcking terrible

mylittlepony 2/23/2011 5:02:15 PM

acai 2/21/2011 6:07:53 PM i worked at victory and got to talk to them several times. very good group of guys. Braggz. Shut the fck up.

bonerjam 2/24/2011 2:46:05 PM

so i'm guessing the new album will be one 70 minute song.
