Burnt By The Sun update

Burnt By The Sun has nearly finished the writing process for their next Relapse Records release. The group will enter New Jersey's Trax East Recording Studio this winter to track the effort, though a producer has yet to be selected. The album is tentatively titled 'Heart of Darkness,' and according to frontman Mike Olender, is conceptually inspired by the classic Joseph Conrad novel of the same name. Speaking with Lambgoat earlier today, Olender added, "This is going to be the most pissed off record I’ve ever done lyrically, with few nuances and much more direct attack. It is also a very dark record that speaks to the fears and concerns of the era." BBTS has posted a video teaser online here. Additionally, a demo version of a new song titled "F-Unit" can be heard online here.
