Metal Blade signs The Crimson Armada

Official press release: Metal Blade Records has just inked a worldwide deal with Westerville, OH's The Crimson Armada, a group of five young metalheads who are about metal as much as they are having a good time and spreading a positive message. Formed in early-2007, The Crimson Armada came together to go beyond just playing metal by paying tribute to various forms of the heavy style, combining their diverse influences and their spiritual messages encrypted within the lyrics. Something that fans who choose to look into the deeper meaning of the lyrics will find uplifting all whilst experiencing The Crimson Armada's truly heavy style of playing. The Crimson Armada's Metal Blade Records debut "Guardians" is tentatively scheduled for a spring release. "We are very excited to be signing to Metal Blade it's as if a dream has come true for all of us. We are VERY fortunate to be on a label with many bands that we have grown up listening to. The only label we never thought we would be on is the label that we are now signed to haha. We want to thank the entire metal blade staff especially Brian Slagel and Mike Faley for their interest in us. It is a HUGE blessing for something of this magnitude to come to us at our age. We can only thank God for his grace upon us. We will be doing some touring here soon and recording November 1st-20th at The Foundation in Connersville, Indiana. Thank you!" - The Crimson Armada "The Crimson Armada combines the whirlwind energy of a new young band with powerhouse songs that just scream METAL! We are definitely looking forward to working with these guys and can't wait to unleash the band's Metal Blade debut 'Guardians' on the metal world," comments Mike Faley of Metal Blade Records. www.myspace.com/thecrimsonarmada
