Never cared for dead guy ale. Rogue had a couple ok ones and then a few terrible ones too if I remember correctly. Haven't had a rogue beer in probably 10 years. Maybe more.

they had some tasty ones. i just wanted to jump on the backlash bandwagon. all the cool guys hate Rogues now. and i'm cool too

I always liked Stone. You can hardly find them in the northeast now. All that hazy juicy bandwagon stuff ran them out of town.

I was selling them for a brief while 6 years ago or so and they were struggling to compete with the new England's all west coast beers were. They cut like half their direct sales staff at one point. That wasn't me. But a guy I knew who did work for them got kept on and his territory went from 2 states to 10. Never a good sign.

I don't like those New England ipas. There's some good ones but most are pretty bad. From a brewing standpoint it's an easy beer to make and it can hide flaws easily. So you can be a really bad brewer and make those.

I don't work in beer anymore because it got too stupid. I'm onto other things now
