On Sunday January 21st, while on tour and staying at a friend's apartment in Chicago, IL, The Auburn System's van was broken into, resulting in the loss of roughly $7,000 in stolen equipment, merchandise, personal effects and damages to their vehicle. In light of the incident, the band cancelled the west coast portion of their tour. Here's a statement from the band:

"We are not the first band this has happened to, and we will certainly not be the last. Shit happens and you have to deal with it. There will be no PayPal account asking for your money. Additionally, ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you donate to a PayPal account that 'a friend of ours, not us set up' or to a PayPal account that was 'set up without the band knowing about it' by some 'anonymous friend.' If you’d like to help in any way, just come out to a show and buy whatever merch we have left. We are going to finish the last couple weeks of our tour. The dates are listed below, and if you can help us fill in one of the TBA dates, that would be helpful. We've had a couple cancellations. Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement we’ve received."
