Fast and Furious in 2005, ETID wraps their year with a massive sold-out European Tour With My Chemical Romance plus, a Holiday Benefit Show in Buffalo NY. And, re-inks a recording deal with Ferret Music.
"Ferret Music is their home," states Ferret Music CEO Carl Seversen. "We get them and their music and we do what's right for the band."
Lyrical pranksters Every Time I Die made their mark with the release of Gutter Phenomenon (2005 Ferret Music); wowing audiences with their unparalleled live performance as well as their never ending and always evolving wacky hijinx; even lassoing their silent sixth member Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs) to do a cameo in the video for the track "Kill the Music."
The band have toured all summer on the Sounds Of the Underground then went on to their headline run with High On Fire, then a quick tour with label mates A Life Once Lost, Haste the Day and It Dies Today; finalizing the year with a double shot of mayhem for a monumental UK tour with My Chemical Romance. ETID also recorded a special one time appearance for the BBC sessions on Halloween. For BBC Radio 'The Lock Up,' the biggest rating specialty show on BBC Radio 1 and pulls approx. 750,000 listeners.
Band guitarist Jordan Buckley says, "We are cold, tired and homesick, but we couldn't be happier to be in Europe playing with My Chemical Romance and our new friends in The Drive By, for so many excited, screaming, soon-to-be ETID fans. The shows are surely some of the biggest and best we have ever played, and we expect things to only get better as we head to Australia in a couple weeks. It is true that December will be spent at home, but look for the non-stop touring to pick back up in January with some massive US tours that we can't quite talk about just yet.
ETID will then go directly from the UK to do a headline tour of Australia to return home for the holidays to spread mayhem and good at The 1st annual ETID/Toys for Tots Christmas blowout w/ an all Buffalo band bill including Dead Hearts and a special guest to be announced. This will be $5 ticket if you bring a toy for the cause, $10 ticket otherwise.
