Matt McChesney, frontman of inactive metalcore band The Autumn Offering (Victory Records) and former vocalist of disbanded metal act Hell Within (Lifeforce Records), is reportedly in a medically induced coma at a New Brunswick, NJ hospital, where he's receiving treatment for leukemia. As such, a crowdfunding campaign has been created on his behalf.
"Matt McChesney is fighting a battle with Leukemia and could use your support. Luckily he is getting top notch care from the staff at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick but has hit a number of setbacks from infection, housing, inability to work, etc. He is also several hundred miles from his mother, sister, and brother which makes it difficult for them to visit him. If you are a friend, family, or fan of his music I am asking you to donate so that Matt can not only cope with rising medical costs but also see his family and get stable housing."
