Oceano scores their highest sales debut to date

Oceano album sales Revelation, the new album from Illinois deathcore act Oceano, sold roughly 3,400 copies in its first week of release in the United States. Though the album failed to chart on the Billboard 200, it did land at No. 62 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart. Notably, this was the band's first release with Sumerian Records. The figure represents Oceano's highest first-week sales tally to date. Previously, their best showing was 2010's Contagion, which sold nearly 3,000 copies in its debut week (bowing at No. 163 on the Billboard 200). The band's most recent album, Ascendents (2015), sold 1,650 copies in its first week, while its predecessor, Incisions (2013), sold slightly less at 1,600. Oceano's debut full-length, 2009's Depths, scored 2,500 in first-week sales.
