Deez Nuts signs European deal with Century Media

Official press release: Century Media Records is delighted to welcome Deez Nuts to the family. Deez Nuts is the brainchild of JJ Peters and started after his original band (and pioneering Australian metal-core outfit) I Killed The Prom Queen decided to split up in early 2008. Heavily influenced by hardcore and hip-hop styles of music JJ set out to do something different that incorporated both styles of music, thus Deez Nuts was born. To date Deez Nuts have put out 2 full length albums, one EP and a DVD. During countless tours throughout Europe, USA and their native Australia they have slowly, but steadily recruited a loyal fan-base across the world. "DN and myself are extremely proud to announce we've joined the family over at Century Media and will finally have a label to call home in Europe and the UK for our upcoming full length 'Bout It'. Look at what we've achieved in Europe and UK doin' it DIY, with CM in our corner there's no stopping us." -JJ Peters (vocals). Their third album and Century Media Records debut "Bout It" that was produced by Shane Frisby (Bury Your Dead, The Ghost Inside) at The Brick Hit House in Massachusetts is scheduled for a release in the first quarter of 2013 in Europe. Arguably their most diverse work to date, the album was recorded earlier this year with Shane Frisby and features Freddy Cricien (Madball), Sam Carter (Architects) and Jon Blake (On Broken Wings) among others. Right around the release Deez Nuts will be partying live on their upcoming European tour.
