Altered Perceptions 'Sacrifice' song premiere
Chicago, IL metal band Altered Perceptions debut a track from their new LP.
Since 2013, Altered Perceptions have been assaulting listeners with their unique blend of deathcore, progressive metalcore, and djent. With subtle melody layered upon blistering down-tuned riffs and frantic vocals, the Illinois quartet ultimately caught the attention of Artery Recordings, who signed the band this past summer.
Their new album, From Rise To Ruins, will be released on October 28 (digital and physical pre-orders are available), and today we're pleased to exclusively unveil a track from the effort titled "Sacrifice." According to the band, "the song "reflects on how anything that is created out of goodness can potentially warp into being a corrupt, power source for ignorant people to feed of."
