Dan Sugarman is spiritually unstoked.

Lol at ABRB I doubt they even broke even with expenses on an out of the country show.

Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to book As Blood Runs Black to play a 2,400 capacity venue?!

anonymous 1/28/2015 12:37:38 PM

HOB Boston reports 4 sellout dates with 4 different crowd numbers. I'm aware that venues will arbitrarily change capacities, but that is blatantly ridiculous

anonymous 1/28/2015 1:19:21 PM

the capacity changes due to what the promoter will call a technical "sellout" and sales beyond that goes into "points" or "backend" .. a ratio of pure profit split between the promoter and the band. the capacity is lower cuz everyone involved knows it won't go to full capacity so they determine a number that would suit the the overhead and ticket price.

Wow, someone who knows what they're talking about. That's rare.

anonymous 1/28/2015 2:34:36 PM

All I take from this is 2364 people were stupid enough to pay $40 to see Limp Bizkit.... WOW

So linkin park make millions and probably only gave of mice and Men like 10k. Good thing that tour ended. Of mice and men are crap and the "lead" singer of the band is the most useless joke I've ever seen.

To the guy droppin' the business knowledge up there: thank you. That genuinely cleared a lot of things up and puts these numbers into much better perspective. Had I a hat, I'd tip it to you.
