Gibby Haynes honors Dave Brockie (GWAR) on The Daily Show
It was a compelling segment for fans of hardcore and metal, as host Jon Stewart and company discussed City Gardens, where Stewart used to bartend. Brief clips of interviews with Ian MacKaye (Fugazi) and Harley Flanagan (ex-Cro-Mags) even materialized.
But the best part was when Haynes walked out with "GWAR" written on his forearm. Stewart acknowledged the tribute and mentioned Dave Brockie by name, calling his passing a "sad situation."

The Daily Show and John Stewart complain about those who expose female celebrities personal fun pictures then they blatantly show Geraldo Rivera's private pic on TV! Hypocrites. Stewart is a suck-up.
That's pretty awesome. Thanks, Gibby. Also, John Stewart is amazing. I always thought he was an upright dude, glad to see I wasn't wrong. Brockie really did inspire all sorts of different people.
