Cory is HIGH!!! This is one of the best CDs this year!!! The production of this CD is flawless. This CD hits you harder than anything in a long time! The drumming is some of the best drumming I've ever heard, the songwriting structure is fascinating, and it is just an all around awesome CD. "We Bow In Its Aura" is my favorite song this year, the first half of the song is super intense and makes me just want to smash something it gets me so pumped up! BUY THIS DISC OR STEAL IT IF YOU MUST!!!!
Talk shit about this band AFTER you've seen them live. If you survive it.

i think this review is spot on. they did use two old songs and the new vocalist sang THE WRONG WORDS in the WRONG PARTS of the songs. thats just poor musicianship and/or laziness at its best. i'm disappointed in the album and it's artwork, and the fact that besides those two old songs, one of the songs is recycled and another two of them are more like intros/outros/intermissions. its' a weak album and they could've done better.
This is not bad, this is not good. The musicianship is pretty good, only too much by the book for me and I don't really like the production. If you can't hear the guitars because of the drums, get off your boyfriend's dick out of your ear. The same goes for the bass, I kind of hear it. haha

i finally took a listen of this band, the music itself isnt bad, but yes the production is way off, the guitars are way too quiet, the vocals and drums stand out too much. and one of the first few riffs/drums were an exact copy of a part in Meshuggah's "I" album. It is refreshing to hear a band with more of an influence like them though. But all in all the production and the playing on this album sounds lightly on the boring/no energy side besides the drumms (maybe cause they stand out so much).
These guys definitely know how to play their instruments quickly and accurately. Unfortunately, they don't seem to know how to work together as a band to write a song. you are obviously wrong

YES they are amazing musicians, way better than I'll ever be but these songs are incredibly boring with breakdowns thrown in to catch your attention again. As for the recording, the guitars are recorded horribly and the drums are as fake as could be. Triggers?yup overall, this cd is straight up something Sumerian would put out 5/10 TOPS
this album is great. your right on the way the bass is mixed. musicianship is amazing. they are a very tight band, ive seen them live many of times. admist all the techinical riffs and off count time signatures theres alot of interesting things going on here. however the artwork is a little lame. besides that 8/10 stick to reveiwing hardcore bands. this review was obviously one-sided.

the fact that marc, sam AND higler are all very talented musicians is maybe the reason this album has a such a low score. they did a poor job. the bar should be est higher for these dudes, especially because the last album was tight and they do play very well live.... but the fact is is that this album is poorly produced, seemingly rushed along, and all together a poor attempt. i can't believe they'd be very proud of this release.

I never listened to these guys before so I went to their myspace to see if the recording was as bad as previously stated. I really don't know what Cory is talking about here as it's not a bad sounding record by any means. Only one song but I'm guessing it's similar to the rest of the album at least.

All the negative comments here are Cory posting on several different names sticking up for his shit review. Anyone with intelligence can see that this is easily the best release of the year thus far.
I'm not really sure what it was that made me want to give this record a listen, but I'm certainly glad I did. While it's probably not going to end up on my year-end top ten, it's already found its way into my steady rotation. The drums are way too loud, artwork is lame, too many between the buried and me/meshuggah/misery signals ripoff parts. More cohesive, less spazz and it has potential.

I have grown to like this album a lot. You cant love an album after listening to it once or even 5 times. For me it takes 10 spins before I can make a legitimate decision. The recording is not the best, lacks clarity, volume and crispness but its not that bad. Favorite song: Its torn away.
Reviewers are supposed to be objective. This is a fairly big site, which seemingly gets a lot of hits, and thus the reviews should be professional and objective. If you're going to write subjective reviews on music inwhich you have no interest in and no understaind of, you should probably do it on one of the thousands of review blogs out there instead. Saw these guys last week with Necrophagist, Dying Fetus and BTM and they sure can hold their own. Their guitarist is phenominal live. Live it sounded like the songs worked very well, and very well written. They definitely know how to structure a song. I've never heard this album, but I want to now. Also, their drummer was tight as shit and blew the BTM drummer out of the water.
