Post Commentthis cd pissed me off. their previous one was actualyl quite good. this one is a mehfest
shit, that sucks. the first CD was excellent - i was looking forward to this.
the f*ck? this band sounds nothing like unearth. who lets this gay review stuff? even the vocals aren't that close to unearth, and there's not a breakdown every minute. i'm not saying this record is anything amazing, but building a whole review around another band is f*cking stupid, especially when they don't sound like them. and unearth? so what, that'd make them swedes ripping off americans that are ripping off swedes? jesus christ.
Dude, youve surely didnt listen to unearth that much so its obvious where is the source of your stupidity...
the oncoming storm had flawless guitar work? where?
I honestly thought this was pretty good in total, not really like Unearth, but i can see the metalcore association. I feel Meshuggah and old-The Haunted are more accurate descriptions.
I like to give bands I've never heard of a listen, so here is my summarization of this band: This review is completely spot on. I have NEVER heard a better duplicate of Trevor Phipps in my life. It's almost amazing how his voice is a complete carbon copy! That said, the music does sound alot like Unearth, but this band has some interesting passages that change up that Unearth shadow all over the record. Finally, totally agree that the production is top notch. Defintely a breathe of fresh air
ps. you are the shittiest reviewer on this site. i dont like this band but they sound nothing like unearth you're just a gay with a grudge against any band that can actually book a show.
