i don't see why hot damn gets so much credit. it was nowhere near as inventive or raw as last night in town. it had it's awesome moments, but it didn't impress me that much. that album is a bit too over-hyped. gutter phenomenon is good. i think a 7 is a fair review, but it is definitely not worse than hot damn. neither are as good as last night in town.
