Massive amounts of listeners but maybe low five figures to show for it. Significant amount of records but not even Gold or they'd say it. Huge festivals who don't need them. Huge crowds relative to the pathetic turnouts of hardcore shows since I'll say 2013 where 300 paid people is "huge". ^ "Gold" doesn't mean anything anymore grandpa, people don't buy records. It's like measuring a 2023 movie's success by DVD sales. Huge festivals don't "need" any one particular act, even headliners are interchangeable, but they all sure seem to be booking this band in particular as opposed to any other band, and placing them pretty high on the lineup, which means they have to pay them more. Sure you get some bullshit buy on bands on any festival, but that's at the bottom of the lineup. So what it's all a giant conspiracy? Bookers and festival organizers across the world are all getting together to lose money to the end of what? f*cking with you?
