I gotta say, you did the right thing. When people make comments like "just stick to making music" they forget that musicians are people too. To somehow imply that your opinion isn't valid just because of your profession is just pure ignorance. We are all human, we are all affected by terrible events, and it is everyone's responsibility to bring injustice to light.
