Think Fast! Records signs Smartbomb

Official press release: Think Fast! Records has officially announced the signing of Smartbomb, from Worcester, Massachusetts. Comprised of half the current members of No Trigger (Nitro Records) and a member of Shock Nagasaki (TKO Records), Smartbomb is no stranger to punk rock, but with the aforementioned bands hectic touring schedules, Smartbomb has been on the backburner and remained one of Massachusetts best kept secrets. Their music is much like their name; an explosion of ideas with thought provoking lyrics that encourage the listener to question everything. Vocalist/guitarist Eric Widing notes "punk should be more about the approach and not about a cliché regurgitation." Building on influences from a wide range of genres within punk, hardcore, and rock n' roll, Smartbomb offers an inspiring blend of progressive thinking and progressive punk rock. The members have toured the world with their other bands and 2008 marks the time that Smartbomb is marching to the frontlines and are ready to take their music and message on the road. Due first, is an eight song CDep titled "Chaos and Lawlessness." "Chaos..." is scheduled to hit store shelves on February 19th, followed by a full-length later in the new year.
