New View Records signs two bands

New View Records, the fledgling record label owned by Terror drummer Nick Jett, has added two more bands to its roster, Mind Piece and Piece By Piece. Mind Piece is a hardcore band from New York City. The group put out a six-song demo earlier this year and will release their New View debut next spring. In the meantime, you can listen to two tracks from their demo here. Meanwhile, Piece By Piece is a California hardcore/punk group featuring Nick Jett on vocals along with Corey Williams (Internal Affairs, Carry On) on guitar. The band has previously released material with Takeover Records, Malfunction Records, and 1917 Records and is currently in the studio recording a new 7"/CDEP, which will surface in January 2008.
