Purity's Failure arrested in Canada

Canada hasn't been a lucky place for a some bands lately (witness Poison The Well and God Forbid). Well, it seems that the guys in Purity's Failure were arrested last weekend at the Canadian border for trying to play in Canada. The band was placed in jail for the night and fined $3000 (pocket change for Britney Spears, a fortune for Purity's Failure). Consequently, the Boston band will not be allowed back into Canada for another 5 years. By that time, they'll be in their early sixties and playing a combination of folk and blue-grass. Anyway, on a much lighter note, the band's debut full-length has been recorded and is nearly ready for mass consumption. Fans should look for the record this fall or early this winter.
