Haste calls it quits

Roughly a year and a half after going on hiatus (and getting dropped by Century Media Records), Alabama's Haste has permanently disbanded. The band has issued the following statement: "This has been one of the most amazing experiences of our lives but we have all come to the point where it is time to move on. A simple thank you does not express the gratitude we feel for everyone who has supported us over the years. We can't possibly list everyone by name who has been important to us as a band, but you know who you are. I promise that we very much appreciate everything that you have done for us. Haste has been a huge part of all of our lives and we are all very sad to see it go, but it is time have some closure to this part of our lives. We have a couple songs (plus the "Back In Black" cover) that we recorded right before we went on hiatus that we will be posting in the next couple of days. Thanks again and maybe we'll run into you kids again soon."
