I think he made the right move, and I'm a MTB fan
his production is beautiful, his keyboards i never paid attention to.
to bad the vocalist didn't leave he is the reason i don't like them
not that big of a deal, the keyboards were cool but nothing to fret over
the keyboard player is the hardest postion to fill

well he did have some pretty snazzy keyboard parts, mostly in menos the oso though. itd be a bigger deal if the singer or guitarists left
Matt Bayles never fails to fall short of a genius, with works from Pearl Jam to Isis to T.A.A.S. In addition, he sought me out at a MTB show in '04 and talked to me about politics for at least 20 minutes. Best of luck to Matt and MTB.
I love this damn band, fckiing amazing. Sad to see Matt go. I especially love his work in menos, my favorite being the end of the song "Pachuca Sunrise"

well, hopefully they find a new keyboardist, cuz it was a nice addition to the sound. but i really only noticed his work on the latest album, and it was good. i bet they can find a good replacement

I don't get this band anyway, he should've joined TAAS instead, but he does good production work. This band should break up.

Matt Bayles is a genius grat work on mastodoon and botch
its a shame, its a great band and i dont think they will find a proper replacement
