Converge working on new album

Converge have spent a good portion of the summer writing new material for their next album. According to the band, they currently have "the skeleton of several songs in the works, with many more still coming together." No word yet on when the group plans to enter the studio, but they intend to play some of the new material on their upcoming Canadian tour with Terror, Cursed, and Mare, in addition to Hellfest. Meanwhile, Converge have announced plans for a full U.S. tour which will kick off in November, with some "amazing bands" in tow. Specifics have yet to be announced, but should surface next week.
