The John Candy featured on new single "Masquerade" by Elmer

The John Candy have had a busy start to 2025. In March 2025, they released a single, "Earthsplitter", alongside BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. and Retri and has amassed over 80 thousand streams on Spotify alone. The John Candy is now featured on the new Elmer single "Masquerade". This is now the second collaboration between the band as The John Candy released the single "They Know. We Know" featuring Elmer back in 2023.

Elmer hail from just outside Pittsburgh, PA, and have a blend of hardcore and metalcore elements in their sound. Their most recent album release, 20, follows the band's concept of presenting an album to appear like one long song instead of separate tracks.
