Converge headed to the studio to record follow up to 2017's 'The Dusk In Us'

After teasing a new record for the past few months, Converge are now hitting the studio this week to track their first proper full-length since 2017's The Dusk In Us. Vocalist Jacob Bannon has launched a Substack to document the process.
Drummer Ben Koller previously mentioned that 27 songs were in development, though it's unclear how many will make the final cut. While the band dropped their Bloodmoon: I collaboration with Chelsea Wolfe in 2021, this marks their first standalone LP in nearly seven years.
