Bloodhorse announce sophomore album 'A Malign Star', 15 years after debut LP

Iodine Recordings has announced the long-awaited sophomore LP from Boston's Bloodhorse, titled A Malign Star. The vinyl edition drops May 30th, with pre-orders available now. The band boasts members of American Nightmare, The Red Chord, and All Pigs Must Die.

Produced by Alex Garcia-Rivera at Mystic Valley Studios (Vundabar, American Nightmare, 108), A Malign Star serves as the long-overdue follow-up to 2009's Horizoner, originally released via Translation Loss.

The title is cribbed from a quote from Robespierre describing Paris as being held under a malign star. The idea for this song was to capture a sense of majestic, imperial foreboding.
