Volumes premiere new track "Sidewinder"

California progressive metalcore outfit Volumes have issued their previously-announced new single, "Sidewinder." The new song — presumably the first offering from their next album, which has been in the works since last year — can be streamed below.

In a recent interview with Knotfest, the group had the following to say about the track:

"'Sidewinder' is an unapologetic hate letter to a world gone mad, especially the corruption within the music industry," Barr states, sharing insight into the subject matter that's as in your face as the sonics. "It offers an unfiltered perspective on a society in chaos, with no optimism or positivity. It's a song that captures the feeling of everything unraveling as we know it."
