Firstborne sign to M-Theory Audio and announce new album, share "Wake Up" music video

Firstborne have officially signed with M-Theory Audio and are set to release their debut album Lucky on July 18th. The album was recorded under the production of Machine (Clutch, King Crimson).

The current lineup includes ex-Lamb of God/Megadeth drummer Chris Adler, guitarist Myrone, and vocalist Girish Pradhan (of Girish And The Chronicles). 

Notably, bassist James LoMenzo has left the band following his return to Megadeth.

Myrone shared the following:

When Chris, Girish, and I got connected in 2019 I said my number one goal in life was to get us all in the same room to jam. Four years later not only did we get in the same room, we went to Machine's barn in Texas for a month to create 10 piping hot metal jams for the whole world to enjoy. I had written around 150 song ideas before stepping in the studio, and we ended up using none of them. What you hear on the record was entirely written and recorded in Texas.

The group has shared the first single, "Wake Up," from the upcoming release. The new track is paired with a Drew Kaufman-directed music video.
