To celebrate the announcement, the group has released a Nathan Thaddeus Cieslak-directed music video featuring their latest single, "Consequence and Broadcast."
The band shared the following:
Musically this wasn't the first song written for the record, but it was the first song we'd completed with everyone as a band. It's our trail of breadcrumbs from the last record to this one, and everything we've wanted to touch on musically between then. As much as we're a bunch of hardcore and metalcore fans, we all grew up just as much into the posthardcore bands of the aughts and that very specific sound. The middle section and ending of the song was something that naturally developed when we wanted to lean in to some of the more melodic and poetic sounds of our influences (stuff like Hopesfall and Alexisonfire) without knowing what direction the song would go in and by the time we finished the record, it felt like a perfect encapsulation of the band's current and past style.
