Hacktivist has mass exodus of members leaving only vocalist Jermaine Hurley and JJ Olifen
British rap metal act Hacktivist have announced the mass departure of members from the outfit. The British rap metallers are currently down to a duo of vocalists Jermaine "J" Hurley and JJ Olifent, with guitarist James Hewitt, bassist Josh Gurner and drummer Richard Hawking all having exited the lineup.
Gurner and Hawking in particular had been with the band since they formed back in 2011.
In a statement given today, Monday, March 24th, the remaining band members shared the following:
Today we're announcing that drummer; Richard Hawking, guitarist; James Hewitt, and bassist; Josh Gurner, will not be continuing in the band with us. We're super grateful for their contributions and wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Tough decisions have been made on all sides, but we can assure all of our supporters that there's no bad blood between us. It's all love.
