Ozzy Osbourne to perform from a throne at Black Sabbath farewell concert
Fans will have to take this news sitting down.

Legendary frontman Ozzy Osbourne will perform from a throne at Black Sabbath's final-ever performance, slated to take place on July 5 in Birmingham, England.
Osbourne, age 76, has been dealing with a spate of physical ailments in recent years, including neck injuries and Parkinson's disease. The fact that he won't perform on his feet shouldn't come as any great surprise, since Ozzy admitted earlier this year that he can't walk anymore.
Speaking with Riff X program Metal XS, guitarist Zakk Wylde revealed that the aforementioned throne may even take flight:
"The game plan is, let's hope this is what happen, you always gotta stay on the bright side of life, because Oz was singing at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame thing. Ozzy was just sitting at the chair and he was singing 'Mama, I'm Coming Home', and it sounded great. So hopefully we'll just do this, and then Oz will go, 'Let's just fire up the machine again and we'll do another tour. With Oz and his throne that just flies over the stadium or whatever, [where he] shoots out buckets of water and does everything like that. So if Oz has a great time and it's just, like, 'I wanna go out on the road again,' it's just, like, 'Good. Let's do it again.'"

Post CommentOzzy to perform at farewell show regardless if he is breathing or not.
I feel bad for anyone who bought tickets. This is going to be so bad.
The only thing left for him to do is one up Lemmy by actually dying on stage, mid performance.
a "throne" lol.....definitely a rollator with some plaster and dr*pes on it
c'mon Oswald, momma needs more plastic surgery in her face.
But can he read the lyrics to "Iron Man" from a teleprompter while sitting on the Throne?
Sounded like from another interview that he is only doing one song with Black Sabbath, otherwise will be watching others perform the songs. Definitely f*cked over ticket buyers for this.
If Ozzy cannot perform on stage anymore due to a physical ailment who are we to 2nd-guess him? Parkinson's is a debilitating disorder. His mental capacity is dwindling. I have epilepsy/seizure disorder so, neurologically speaking, I get where he's coming from. If he can't perform live anymore, he CAN'T.
Poor ozzy did sharon put you ip to this? This is humiliating

Now this is the news lambgoat has been eagerly waiting for. Kill yourself, lurk
He can't sing anymore either, never could really.....what a joke
I'm glad so many people think this is going to be shit. All the better when it's amazing. Ozzy from a throne is all anyone expected. I guess people just want to forget that the lineup is one of the best metal lineups of all time even with a 76 year old man not being able to run around like a coked up demon.
Osborne family needs some plastic surgery and Jack maybe another destination recovery vaca
