Galder (ex-Dimmu Borgir) gives update on status on the recently revived Old Man's Child

Tom Rune Andersen, aka Galder, has confirmed plans to revive Old Man's Child following his departure from Dimmu Borgir last August. The black metal outfit has lined up their first live shows in 26 years and is actively working on new material—their first since 2009.
Galder shared the following update:
First OMC rehearsals in years! Feels good!. I know some people are curious about who is playing what etc. so a little update. Since we haven't been on stage for 26 years(!) we have to make the best of it. Flying people in from across the world etc is simply not an option at this time, so I will work with local people I know and/or have worked with before.
I will also most likely bring in some vocal help (Born of the Flickering style) but will still do some vocals my self so I can focus on doing my thing on stage. This is not to be mixed up with OMC studio recordings as that is a different matter. Going to be careful about announcing any musicians names here as this may change. However I can confirm that Tjodalv will be returning and playing the drums this summer. Cheers and have a nice weekend.
