Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke has fired back amid the controversy surrounding Launceston, Tasmania mayor Matthew Garwood. Garwood faced backlash after attending a meet & greet with Radke during the band's Australian tour and sharing the moment on Facebook.
Critics, including members of the Launceston City Council and local residents, took issue with Garwood's association with Radke due to the vocalist's controversial past and outspoken nature online.

The Falling In Reverse frontman escalated his response to the controversy surrounding Launceston mayor Matthew Garwood's in a now deleted five-minute video rant. Radke took direct aim at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and the Launceston City Council members who criticized Garwood for associating with him.
Radke condemned the criticism as hypocritical, referencing past legal troubles of other musicians like Tommy Lee, while also accusing the council of turning a blind eye to worse offenses. He further targeted a specific city councillor, sharing her email and phone number, and launching a series of expletive-laden insults. Radke also framed his presence in Australia as an economic boost, citing massive merch sales and his efforts to bring fans onstage.
His tirade continued with accusations against the media and politicians, railing against ABC as a "propaganda machine" and dismissing his critics as ineffective leaders. Radke concluded his rant with a blunt message: "Fuck ABC news, fcuk all these councilmen in Australia."
