Exclusive: K L P S premiere video for "SUBVERSE" through Lambgoat

On March 7 of this year, Swedish post-metal group K L P S (formerly stylized as Kollaps\e) released their self-titled, second full-length album on These Hands Melt. The record captures the four-piece coming into their own, expanding upon the ideas presented on their debut, Phantom Centre, and carving out their own niche in the underground music world.
Drawing as much from the sludgier side of the genre as the hardcore side, K L P S is a crushing effort. Slow churning riffs collide with chaotic dissonance and moments of ethereal synth-laden serenity. Fans of Breach, ISIS, and Amenra will find plenty to love about the band's sophomore effort.
Today, Lambgoat is proud to team up with the group to premiere the music video for "SUBVERSE," the opening track off the album.
Guitarist/vocalist Daniel Wallenborg describes the video:
"Done by INSOMNIA DESIGNS (me, Daniel) in our rehearsal space in true D.I.Y fashion. Some backdrops and lights/strobes. We wanted to do a performance video after all those visualizer and lyric videos; trying to capture what it might would be like to experience us live."
Regarding the song, Wallenborg said:
"Musically we tried to do something different. Peter [Walefors, guitar] had this kind of mapped out and we played around with the opening for quite some time, trying blastbeats etc; channeling our inner Converge. And then the hardcore ending is kind of new to us, so in that sense, 'SUBVERSE' is the odd one out, more post-hardcore than sludge. This is absolutely something we will explore more in the future."
He continued, adding context to the lyrics:
"'SUBVERSE' is about being fear-mongered by the powers that be to the point that you more or less welcome it with open arms and accept the outcome."

Post Commentnot actually an exclusive. I was in a text thread with Hegseth and JD Pants where they discussed which subsidized "community" this should be posted in. ABW.
Ladies and gentlemen the 9-5 staff of your local Jiffy Lube
My bladder is full of urine but I am in the grocery store parking lot. I'm about to have a mental breakdown
felt the need to keep snorting more, it was likely cocaine. If the high lasted many hours, kept you awake all night, and left you feeling wired but not necessarily social, it was more likely meth. If you're concerned about what you took or are experiencing negative effects, consider reaching out to a medical professional or a harm reduction service. Stay safe!

I love it when you post exclusives about bands with 6 followers. Really top tier shit you got going on here pal. Hegseth knew.
