Drummer Jeff Saltzman shared the following on the single:
The first iteration of "Burn" originally came about when Sungwoo wanted to write an anthemic song for big stages. Naturally, when we finished arranging it together, it had a full-on rumba-clave section and a bass solo. And then I wrote lyrics espousing violent class revolution - not exactly typical anthem material! However, I think the final product is really a great picture of Aversed - combining a series of chaotic elements into a cohesive piece that is both catchy, and evocative.
Guitarist Sungwoo Jeong offered the following on the video:
We shot the "Burn" video at our home base venue - the Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We unleashed our videographers into the packed crowd to brave the pit and capture the energy of the show - and they survived! Happy to have captured that amazing show for all eternity.
