Just like alcest, this band ends up getting the pass. Funny how hypocritical people are.

And the two bands had a sideproject called Old Silver Key! The difference is Neige from Alcest is tapped into the western media ecosystem and so he had to make a few groveling apologies for Peste Noire whereas Roman Saenko from Drudkh never had to apologize for Hate Forest and even brought the project name back because he's ultimately just a Ukrainian and western cultural pressure still doesn't penetrate that far.

Album is good btw. Not doing much of anything new, unsurprisingly, but what they do is good so who cares.
