The Acacia Strain seem to be cooking up their 13th studio album. Frontman Vincent Bennett teased the band's recent studio sessions on social media yesterday, Sunday, March 16th.
Bennett shared the following:
Listening to @mikewtf riff has me looking confused and a little annoyed, but in the good way that's like "dude how are you doing that and how does your brain even think that way!?"

Whenever a band says something along the lines of "making the record we want, not the record the fans want" (or whatever) the likelihood of it sucking just went through the roof. The Acacia Strain needs to do a tour of their old material (3750, The Dead Walk with Dr Doom) and have Recon on the tour instead of all these shitty tours they've been doing.

Unlike you I wasn't 3 years old when Continent came out. I remember buying that album when it was released. It was okay? for a week, got boring as hell, and every album they made after got worse. That first Cockpunch album was 100000000x better than Continent or any of those stupid f*cking albums The Acacia Strain made after.
