Cadaver share single “Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic,” releasing 'Hymns of Misanthropy' in April

Norwegian metal legends Cadaver have shared the single, "Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic," from the group's upcoming album, Hymns of Misanthropy, releasing April 25th via Listenable Records. The album finds the band revisiting unreleased material from the last 30 years and finally sharing with fans in 2025.

CADAVER 's long-lost beast, "Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic", finally claws its way into the light—begun in 1993, finished in 2024, and seething with three decades of buried rage. Anders Odden (guitar/vocals) and Ole Bjerkebakke (drums/vocals), the original architects of sonic chaos, reunite to unleash this long-brewing storm together with Eilert Solstad (double bass). Raw, relentless, and disturbingly prophetic, this track proves that madness only festers stronger with time.
