Vanna are back with "Quiet Place"

Their first new song since 2016.

After reuniting live for a fifteenth anniversary set celebrating their A New Hope record, Massachusetts metalcore/post-hardcore act Vanna are officially back with new material.

Their new single "Quiet Place" features early vocalist Chris Preece, rather than Davey Muise, who had allegations against him in 2020. The rest of the lineup includes Brandon Davis, Shawn Marquis, Nick Lambert, and Evan Pharmakis, who were all original members.

Previously, the same band members reappeared under the name INSPIRIT, releasing a handful of material and playing shows for a bit. Although, this appears to have caused confusion for fans.

Guitarist Nick Lambert stated the following when asked about their decision to revive the Vanna name:

"Yeah we didn't set out with some plan to get back to the vanna name but after some years of playing under inspirit and gradually adding more of our original material back in it just felt confusing for us as well as fans. We just sort of decided on it right before the holiday show in December!

"It's gonna be fun!"
