Primus look to have officially found the successor to departed drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander. After combing through more than five thousand video auditions and partaking in a slew of in-person auditions, Primus have officially welcomed John Hoffman to the fold (see below).
Son of a veteran musician, Hoffman is a professional drummer from Shreveport, Louisiana and will presumably accompany Primus on the road this spring for their tour with Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. A video overview of his Primus audition journey can be viewed below.

If I didn't know better, I thought they got Weekend Nachos' vocalist as their drummer.
I know the comments love to shit on everything but I really like his drumming style and he seems like a happy and humble dude. Good for him. Also, Primus sucks.
He's a really good drummer. Hopefully he makes some good money. Primus sound annoying but they probably make bank on tour.
Been watching this guy for a couple years now, this dude is a freak on drums.
