Veil of Maya's Marc Okubo provides details regarding their return

Following their hiatus announcement, many thought that djent/metalcore band Veil Of Maya were gone for good, but founding guitarist Marc Okubo has recently teased details regarding their return. 

He stated the following on X:

When veil comes back it will be the heavy version

Some fans initially thought that their future was up in the air, but after a couple updates from Okubo, including this one, it seems that their return is inevitable, and will see them taking their sound back to its roots. Whether they will still be a touring band or focus more on studio work, or even if the lineup will remain the same, is still uncertain. 

While on hiatus, Okubo has kept busy taking over guitar duties for Falling in Reverse on tour.
